A neat little game, even if there isn’t a whole lot to it. It’s just what the title implies, a shooting gallery. You throw water balloons at targets that scroll across the screen. The trial gives you 4 levels, and I actually found myself playing quite a few times. The presentation is great, the graphics are bright, colorful and well animated. It’s got a couple of special targets to hit like one that adds to your time, another that stops all the targets for a brief amount of time to make them easier to hit. Weird carnival style music with laughing clowns and whatnot. This would make a great game for kids, and us adults who just wanna kill a few minutes with something mindless and entertaining. You’ll blow through the 4 levels before your 10 minute time limit is up, and that’s just fine. But, as the guy fromĀ XboxHornet(great site, go check it out if you’re into these Indie Games) pointed out to me when I ranted about the game on Twitter, there are NO leaderboards. Local, global or otherwise. That’s something I don’t immediately notice personally because I just play them to play. But I do like to compete against myself with some types of games, and this would be one of them.

Overall, a great little game for what it is that is definitely worth a download, and if you’re like me and just want to kill a few minutes every now and then, by all means get it. But for a lot of people the complete lack of leaderboards kills it. It’s only 80 points, and it’s your call if you wanna shell out the $1, I personally won’t. The trial does me just fine. This is one of those games that would be much better off on the iPhone/iPod touch than the 360(hell, they may have released it for those, but I don’t have either of them so I don’t know). But definitely get it and give it a try, it’ll keep ya busy for a few minutes. And if you have kids, they might like it.
