This episode of Stalking the Retro is inspired by the sick art of the great H.R. Giger. Ian and I discuss the sick mind of this talented guy as well as the real life story of Mike Dawson and how he was driven to madness!

STR Episode 8: Target All Things Retro.
Has work been bringing you down? Are you tired, sluggish and feeling a bit under the weather? Well the latest episode of STR has the medicine for what ails you. The longest episode yet, almost two hours of exciting retro goodness, is what awaits if you click the link below.
Warning may cause the following side effects: uncontrollable desire to eat retro cereal and the extreme desire to seek out all things retro.
Miley Cyrus goes shopping.
But when someone is stupid enough to go out in public like this, when they know damned good and well people with cameras are following them around, it’s a benefit to us.
Thankfully, she hasn’t seemed to want to follow the Disney thing for a long, long time.
I’m slightly more interested in seeing what she looks like in 5 to 6 years, though. Because she’s still fairly young, I wonder if it’s going to stick.
We’ll just have to see. Hit up the jump if you want to see more. This picture here ought to give you a hint as to what is beyond.
Emma Watson on the set of “Bling Ring”… Damn.
FINALLY she ditched the short hair. And she’s all the better for it. Personally, I see her getting better and better with age.
I don’t know anything about the movie “Bling Ring”… I’ve never heard of it until now. But I have a feeling I may be checking it out once it comes out on DVD or something. And I'm trying out a new way to put the pictures on the posts... if you don't like it... I don't know what to tell you. :)
Unless you count my computer monitor of course, which is put to good use right now. But that doesn’t matter here. What matters here is that she keeps getting hotter and hotter as time goes on.
But yeah, there’s a lot of pictures to this, thanks to site like Egotastic! and The Superficial for the heads up this.
Happy Easter from Stalking the Retro.
Well it’s Easter already and no doubt the little ones will be hunting for Easter eggs and filling their tummies with chocolate. So why not fill your ears with an all new episode of Stalking the Retro? This week Ian and I talk about the new Kid Icarus game for the 3DS and of course the NES and Game Boy versions get a mention. We discuss the dark and kinky combo of electronics companies and leather as well as the latest iteration of Angry Birds. Can you find the Easter egg hidden in this week’s episode of STR? Here’s a hint: There isn’t one but go ahead and download it to see if you can prove me wrong. That’s the true meaning of Easter!
The PS4 and the Console Apocalypse
Well it looks like the PS4 will be arriving by holiday season 2013. It’s really a good thing that the world is supposed to end by December since it’s obvious that Sony is trying to destroy the console market. I mean come on guys your new console has a PC graphics card and a PC processor? Why don’t we call it exactly just what it is? It’s a fucking PC! Not only that but by the time it comes out it will be a PC with the internals of an entry level computer from two years ago. Sony it looks like is also trying to completely destroy the used game market by making all of the games for the new system pass through online authentication before playing. That sounds familiar, who else does that? Oh right the fucking PC! So who wants to buy an old PC with Sony’s closed system to play the latest and greatest games? Sure the Xbox 360 has pretty much always been a glorified PC but come on Sony I thought that you were the risk takers with your cell processing and all that jazz! I guess we can hope that Sony has something unique up their sleeves for next year. If not then I would say that this is the official death knell of the console generation. Unless of course Nintendo…oh wait never mind. –Indieseoul
